Jor-El is a Kryptonian scientist, best known as the biological father of Superman. He foresaw the impending destruction of Krypton and worked tirelessly to warn the ruling council, only to be dismissed and ridiculed.

Driven by his love for his infant son, Kal-El, Jor-El defied the council and constructed a spacecraft to send him to Earth moments before Krypton's demise. This act ensured the survival of the Kryptonian race.

In *The Lego Batman Movie*, Jor-El makes an appearance via a holographic recording. This version of the character is also available as a collectible minifigure (CMF) in the "Lego CMF The Lego Batman Movie 2" series.
